The Bosker Years

Mr Peter Bosker, Principal 1990 - 1993

Mr Peter Bosker was appointed the College’s first Principal in 1990 with 106 students enrolled at King’s.

During his leadership the College briefly expanded to offer secondary classes (1991) however this expansion was short-lived as a result of the restrictive policies of the then Federal Government’s New Schools Program.

Mr Bosker oversaw significant facilities development with the first library, home economics, administration area and two further classrooms were constructed and the central courtyard was developed.

Mr Bosker resigned as Principal in 1993 to accept the role of Principal at Launceston Christian School.
